ST. LOUIS, MO – The Materials Technology Institute (MTI) is pleased to announce the hire of Kevin Ganschow as an Associate Director (AD). Ganschow has a history of participation as a member of MTI. He served as the Designated Representative for Chevron for a number of years, as well as a Project Champion of the Refiner’s Roundtable II and an MTI Board Director. In recent years, he has been working for Chevron in Kazakhstan, but made the move to retire and will begin the position for MTI in late May.
In his AD role, he will support MTI through project management and work with project Champions and team members to schedule meetings, develop proposals, evaluate contractors, and manage the progress of multiple projects. He will participate in AmeriTAC and other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
“We look forward to the addition of Kevin and anticipate his knowledge and industry experience will provide significant contributions to continue MTI’s strategic direction into the future,” remarks Heather Allain, MTI Executive Director. “His experience in the refining industry is particularly valuable in supporting projects focused on downstream oil and gas corrosion issues.”
