The Albemarle Corporation bolted flanged joint assembly (BFJA) training program was developed and implemented several years ago, as part of Albemarle's broader initiative to drive for zero LOPC's. The objective of the initiative and mechanic training was to improve the Mechanical Integrity of bolted flange joints, achieve safe and reliable plant operation, maximize asset longevity, and minimize the potential for loss of primary containment of hazardous chemicals. Much progress has been made in this regard, and this presentation will take the participants through the journey to date.
