I began my career with Carpenter Steel in a welded stainless steel tube and pipe facility in NJ. I later moved to Carpenter's HQ as the Medical Implant Metallurgist with an additional focus on CPI applications. I was with Carpenter for 18 years before joining Rolled Alloys. At Rolled Alloys I led both the Technical Support group and the Quality Assurance group for all of their facilities. I led the process to obtain both ISO 9001 and aerospace AS9100 certification. I retired from Rolled Alloys after 25 years to take on the role of Executive Director at MTI. My involvement in ASTM for many years included serving as their Chairman in 2009 and leading the nickel alloy committee for more than 20 years.
