WHAT TO EXPECT AS A SPEAKER

Your Success is Our Success

The success of our Global Solutions Symposium relies heavily on the contributions of our presenters. Your professionalism and expertise contribute to a memorable attendee experience. We are here to make sure you are set up to succeed. All speakers are offered guidance to refine and elevate your presentation materials to the highest standard leading up to the Symposium.

Expected Audience

MTI focuses on solving challenges in materials technology for industrial processing companies to improve safety, sustainability and reliability. Our Global Solutions Symposium consists of key engineers, decision makers and leaders in chemical production, refining, oil & gas, mining, fertilizers and other Process Industries.

How are Presentations Selected?

A technical committee of MTI members from producer and supplier companies is responsible for reviewing and curating the content for the Symposium. This team will review all submissions and evaluate them for their fit, relevance, and overall quality. Guidelines are also in place to ensure a diverse selection of presentations within each technical track.

Presentation Requirements

MTI requires final presentations to be delivered in the Global Solutions Symposium PowerPoint template and papers must follow MTI's guidelines; the templates and guidelines are provided upon notification of speaker selection. Speakers are also required to sign a speaker release form, which allows MTI to post the presentations on the MTI website www.mti-global.org.

What's in it for You?

Our hope is that you will find the Global Solutions Symposium to be a compelling platform that is worthy of your time and investment, as well as an opportunity for your own professional growth and heightened visibility within the Process Industries. The collection of speakers assembled for this event receive significant promotion and visibility across MTI's communication channels. In addition, speakers are provided a discounted registration for the entire event.

Speaker Compensation

It is not MTI's standard policy to offer honorariums, travel, or expense reimbursement for your participation. As a non-profit organization, MTI operates inside extremely tight budgetary constraints to provide members and participants with the most value for their spend. Keeping our expenses down helps to keep our events affordable for as many participants as possible. Any revenue generated by our events is used to offset the production expense and/or is directly reinvested into future MTI programming.

No Sales Pitches

MTI operates the Global Solutions Symposium technical sessions under a non-commercialism policy.

We will not accept presentations that may be considered brand or product pitches. Please respect this request. If you would like the opportunity to sell your products or technology, we invite you to purchase a booth in our Global Solutions Marketplace.
