Refractory ceramics are used for a variety of industrial applications where thermal protection and corrosion resistant linings are most common. There are many choices of refractories available, and selection of the materials is not always intuitive as there is little standardization of these materials for the chemical process industry.
The purpose of this webinar will be to provide a general overview of the refractory ceramic materials that are available for thermal protection applications. General guidance will be provided on when to choose a brick or monolithic lining, and how to select a specific ceramic composition to resist the intended service conditions.
