MTI Celebrates Member Achievements at Annual Awards Banquet
MTI Awards were created to honor members who showcase their accomplished leadership, participation and industry expertise. In 2018, the MTI Board of Directors established two awards to recognize individual members – the MTI Distinguished Service Award and the MTI Chair’s Leadership Award.
The first-ever recipients of the new awards were announced October 30, 2019 at the MTI Annual Awards Banquet in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dale McInytre (Phillips 66) and William “Bill” Salot (AdvanSix) received the 2019 MTI Distinguished Service Award. Curtis Huddle (Eastman) and Nina Young (Chevron Phillips Chemical Company) were recognized for their leadership with the MTI Chair’s Leadership Award. Jader Furtado (Air Liquide) also received the Chair’s award and was acknowledged during the EuroTAC meeting November 20-21, 2019.
Maria Jose Oestergaard, MTI Board of Directors Chair (2017-2019), shared details about the inaugural awards as well as the qualities and participation of the recipients in attendance that landed each winner with MTI honors.
