The successful one-day training session focused on condition assessment, failure analysis and repair techniques of refractory lined vessels and ceramic components. It included a morning visit to the Harbison-Walker International Advanced Technology and Research Center (ATRC) with gunnite and casting demonstrations and a tour of the analytical lab. The afternoon training program offered presentations and case studies on failures.
