ST. LOUIS, MO – The Materials Technology Institute (MTI) is pleased to announce the hire of Philip Song as an Associate Director for the AsiaTAC region. Song has over 20 years in the metals industry with expertise in stainless steel, nickel, specialty alloys, and welding technologies. His familiarity with MTI dates back to his role of Chief Representative and Manager of Market Development with MTI member Nickel Institute from 2015-2023.
Now in the AD role, he will support MTI through project management, membership recruitment and support the planning of the region's TAC meetings. Song replaces the previous AsiaTAC AD Paul Liu, who retired at the end of 2025.
